The Beran 455 Integrated
TransCal™ provides, in one box, all of the measuring
devices
required to calibrate the
majority of vibration
transducers. The unit includes a power amplifier to
provide
drive to the user's shaker and two channels of matched
signal conditioning amplifiers,
one for the reference
transducer and the other for the test transducer.
The sine correlation
measurement technique is used in the Beran 455 to ensure
that accurate,
repeatable measurements are provided over a wide frequency
range and with changing measurement environments.

Internal signal conditioning
amplifiers provide interfacing to charge, voltage and
ICP type devices. Additionally, an
internal power amplifier
provides drive to an external shaker or alternatively,
connection to an external power amplifier-shaker system
may be made.
Calibration procedures include frequency step at traceable
frequencies, frequency sweep or amplitude step - or
all three if required. All user configuration and result
display is via an in-built
graphical interface.

The Beran 455 Integrated TransCal™ is fully compatible
with the Beran 485
Application Software. This provides compatibility
with Microsoft Windows packages and other databases. The
485 Application Software
also includes a design module to allow users to customise
calibration certificates. |
